Dressing Etiquette 101: Color Coordination and Recycling!

First my entry to the LivingwithEdward contest is posted. Feel free to check it out but just know that I'm going to leave that type of thing in her expert hands from now on and stick with making fun of the inconsistencies in the Twilight books and movies and general lusting after Rob because that stuff is tough and she always does a tremendously way better job that usually leaves me in tears!!

As soon as you are done reading this, go check out The Cold Shower and you can see exactly what it was that won me a copy of the Premiere Magazine. Bleriana asked for a little explanation one day on the difference between a suit and a tux so I basically gave up what little pictures I have in my Robp0rn collection as visuals to her to demonstrate which is which on Rob (and Kellan made it in there too Jella and Jayla). Bonus, Bleriana has this campaign going for Rob to be the next James Bond and she got Robnipulation to make a manip that is a must see!

And while we are on the subject of Rob in a suit....

{picture from eclipsemovie.org}
Well before I die over this because Rob's hair and face look more golden and delicious than a Twinkie...

it should be noted that themes, color-coordination,
and symbolism are NEVER lost on me.

Red, gray, white, black

Vampire blood,  Swan , Wolf

Perfect! Gorgeous! Wow!

Very matchy, matchy!!

Kudos to Rob for being the one to take on the red. Sure Kristen would have looked killer in a red dress, but then I guess someone offered Rob an environmentally-friendly alternative and he agreed to...

RECYCLING!

How very green of Rob!!! So extra kudos to the people involved in the Twilight movies who thought to recycle the crushed red velvet robe and turn it into a custom-fitted suit for Rob!

Recycling and Rob
are good for the planet!!!

Dearest Rob,
My mom thinks you look too thin and need some meat on your bones. If she offers to make you a pot roast dinner, I'll let you know, and you should definitely take her up on it!  Mom's home cooking is the best!

Be Sure to check out Access Hollywood online for tidbits on all things Rob, Kristen, Peter, Kellan, Taylor, and Eclipse from the LA Premiere! I'm sure that Rachel Reiss and Shaun Robinson read my blog daily but it would be nice to have some proof. Tickets to the premiere of Eclipse would have done just fine Rachel, but since that day has come and gone, you have 2 more chances with Breaking Dawn I and II. A phone call from Rob during the next press junket would work too. I promise not to scream in his ear. Lemme know what you kids decide!

PS: Rob totally pulled off the red crushed velvet suit better than David Arquette. Sorry David, you know I love you otherwise. *blows a kiss*

First... CONGRATS AGAIN on winning that magazine!

Second... I noticed the color scheme as well. I think the Twi-fecta looked gorgeous (even SharkBoy... EWWW)

And about Rob's thinness... Well, I agree he thinned a little too much with NM and Eclipse, I have noticed that he seems to have gained a few. Not much, but a few lbs.

PS. I am making it my personal quest to find you that Aussie magazine.

As always, the gang looked flawless. I didn't notice the matchy matchy, but I see it now.

I can't imagine either boy in white, so I think they made a good choice with Rob in the red. I thought they looked gorgeous, especially when they stood together.

I just realized something that 17foreverlisa and SoTwired Jen mentioned last night. That on the New Moon carpet, Kristen and Rob didn't pose together (but Kristen and Taylor did) and now for Eclipse Kristen and Rob posed together and all three posed together. That would be another movie move. In New Moon, Bella and Edward were not together but Bella and Jacob were. Now in Eclipse Bella and Edward are together but Jacob is still on the scene. WOW, I feel like TT here. I love the way the mind works sometimes.

They all looked great!

I don't care what the critics say. I absolutely loved the burgandy suit. I thought he looked amazing in it. And I actually did not figure out the color combo thing. Now I'm mad at myself for not seeing the obvious.

Wow! I never even thought about the colors until now! Very good observation!!!! That's so cool. When I watched the premiere live last night, I never saw the 3 of them together at the same time. They all looked amazing.

I love this. I never thought anything except, "WHY is he wearing that color?" LMAO. Nice catch, TT!

TT you are a genius. That is all.

I can't believe I truly did not see the eclipse colour scheming in there. Jeez I have been away in Europe too long! Yeah for a Premiere magazine! Off to check out the links you recommended....

@Kelly, yes I know it is hard to look beyond him. (I had to imagine the clamped chimp clap to get me through this post)

@rpfangrl, yay! You noticed too! Shark boy did look good, short, but good. You are so sweet to want me to have that magazine!

@HG, I agree about "the gang!" LOL

@DD, Very cool NM observation! But ut oh, you are starting to think like me? If it gets too bad ask someone for help, okay because I'll tell ya, it's a blessing and a curse! LOL

@Nocona, They did! And it is nice to see you back!

@AT, welcomes back, language barrier and all! (cushion = robe)
giggles chickadee!

@LwE, don't be so hard on yourself! I liked the burgundy too, and if the critics took the time to understand the greater scheme as explained here, they might be less critical! The suit was well made.

@iMc/MB/TJ, glad you enjoyed! I'm so glad you guys "get" my excitement over catching the matchy, matchy because it is so lost on the hubby!

@Mrs.P, It was AP like but that's okay because YEAH BABY, he does make us all horny!

@TC, Welcomes back! I'll be over to check out details of your trip, lucky chickadee!!

You never cease to amaze me with your observations, Kit. Truly. I always notice when they are color coordinated for public appearances, but I didn't equate the color scheme with the Eclipse poster. As you know, I was having a Robsten moment during the live stream of the premiere. I was gasping...out loud...every time Rob appeared on the screen and SQUEEING every time Kristen clutched his jacket and they looked in each other's eyes. There is love, pride, joy, and familiarity in those looks. I know you like your Robsten hidden, but oh my it was on full display that night. *sigh*

XXXOOO

@Viv, A Robsten moment? LOL Oh I think it has been longer than that! I am perfectly fine with emerging Robsten because obviously they looked happy. A happy Robsten makes for great pictures.

Yes- this is crazy late.. but I’ve been ridiculously busy.
The color coordinated outfits- very perceptive…
LOL @ the recycled Volturi robes ... a suit. I love Rob, but the suit was tragic.
