Edward has a thick scottish accent in this story. Ryeward is a traditional Scotsman and goes completely commando under his kilt. The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon are my very favorite books ever, plus I've read a ton of other highlander books, so a Scottish Edward is absolutely what I need right now to get me out of the doldrums. Hello again!! I finished reading this story last night and am not ashamed to say that I'm totally in love with Ryeward and his boaby :) Lisa, I kept your magazine cover pic nearby while I read and it was a lovely visual aid. If only there were a way to have him read it to me (out loud) in person.
Really, this story is a good one, so everyone should go read it now! Then as soon as you're finished, go read Outlander :) Mac_214 is an outstanding writer and also had some sweet replies to my reviews. I'll definitely read some of her other stories. @ Sue - I'm too lazy to write the whole thing...Anyhoo, having already read Outlander, I'm wondering if this Fic is similar (since you suggested reading it too). I loved Outlander!! Now I have even higher hopes for this fic!! YAY!!
Hi @Twiweasel! Yes, I think you'll like this fic if you enjoyed Outlander. It's not nearly the same kind of depth, but it's a cute story and has a sexy, fun Edward. This author has the Scottish charm down pat :)
