Seriously how is your summer going? I've got a suntan and sunburn. wtf? That spray-on sh*t just does not work well.
With only five more issues of TwiPeople's Sexiest Ward Alive remaining, I thought I'd shamelessly ask you guys to choose a favorite. Which one got to you? Are you biased with a personal connection to the story? Did you just LOVE the story? Was it the overall 'Wow effect' of the cover that sucked you in at first sight? Is it too hard to decide? Okay then you choose your top two!

I lent Shades of Atlantis to a RL friend, telling her she would be able to read it in two days. She emailed me to tell me how much she loved it. When we chatted on the phone last week I told her I was so glad she liked it, and she corrected me saying that she loved it! She's like, "And, you were right, I did read it in two days."
Sometime either in the beginning to mid-August, I will have my discussion about the book, full of spoilers. Hope you will be able to join in!!!

Okay... Of course I can't get to my computer to type a response to this post. Not like I'd know what 'Ward I'd want. My fave... Hard to say as all the covers were awesome. Because you posted about MafiaWard, I read it and enjoyed it. I live kiltward... But that Kilt pic is the one I put Jackson in... And he wins it for me (remember the kilt-off last year?). Anyway... I think your fave was MafiaWard. Lisa's was TwinWard with a mini-Jasper sub-copy issue.

My all-time favourite is obvious - duh. Fifty Shades of good god he's hot.
Then tied for second, we have MafiaPrinceWard (sigh), Bossward and Docward. I just can't choose, kiTT!
MPW has a special place in my heart. That story rocked my socks off and I can't wait to read it again when I have a spare - hmm - hundred years.
Bossward, well, hello! When The Plan fever struck twitardia I went right along with it. Hubba hubba.
And Docward, my recent favourite. I read Seattle General after seeing this cover and really enoyed the story. The visual really helped when I *ahem* needed him to be - how shall I put this - realistic.
I can't wait to see what you and Lisa come up with next. What a dynamic duo!
And I can't answer the question about my summer, since it's the middle of winter here, but only 12 more sleeps until CALIFORNIA for meeeeee!

Good Morning, KiTT...sorry I'm late to the party, but you should know by now that I either show up late or not at all. *eyeroll*
My favorite cover is Kiltward. I don't know what it is about a man in a kilt, but I tend to *fans self* get a little hot and bothered by it. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to read the whole fic. I started it...once upon a time...but I never got back. *sigh*
The cover/story for Twinned pushed me over the edge to read the fic (as well as Lisa gently reminding me to read...on a daily basis) and I. Loved. It. I've started Seventeen Men and am 10 or so chapters in, but it's slow going as Real Life kicks my ass on a daily basis. PS...I really really like the Seventeen Men cover too.
Summer is going well...I've only had the one sunburn right at the beginning. My forehead peeled till I looked like a leper. {{{shudder}}} Good thing I work in a public place where lots and lots of people could see me. *eyeroll* Softball is over *sob* and camps are getting ready to end this week. I will be short tempered for the next month as the kiddos will be home together until school starts.
Shades of Atlantis, huh? Hmmm...better check that one out. I trust you...well, your judgment, anyway. *wink*
I love all the covers. Dreamward is especially hunky. I have been trying to catch up reading the fic. I love these posts now that I get it!!! Took me long enough.

My summer has been fanf*ckingtastic. Went to the Chicago House of Blues for the first time ever; saw my first 100 Monkeys concert there; met the band; had a very interesting conversation with Jackson; fell in love with the boys in the band; lost my ever-lovin' mind to Jackson (well, what little was left of it anyway); hung out with some awesome peeps in the fandom; went to San Diego and hung out with some more awesome peeps in the fandom; went to Comic-Con; attended the BD1 panel and got pictures; met the Holy Trinity and got autographs; had a conversation with Rob; and had an incredible surprise birthday celebration in the blogosphere. Yep (pops the p). My summer has rocked.

Is it safe to say I *read* 'Seattle General' if I *wrote* it? =) I did have to re-read it before I posted it...so I suppose I did.
I'll have to go with my favorite cover being Docward. I know...I'm biased. =)

Maybe when this is over I'll do a post explaining some of the process that went into all of these.
Most of all, I love that Lisa and I have worked hard at the details to really make these covers give you a glimpse into the story if you hadn't read it or reminders of the story if you have. I feel like we accomplished that with each cover.
It was tricky for Dreamward, but I was really excited for how that one came out, esp b/c it was for a story that was lesser known that I really enjoyed.
And we've just tried to raise the bar ever since then in one way or another!! And each time I think we can't top the last one, I feel like we do! Hello we now have our own Docward pic compliments of Lisa~!
Bossward really is my fav. I think I had the most input into that one so maybe that is why but I think we worked to get that one perfect!
