As if I'm not excited enough about seeing Breaking Dawn tomorrow, @17ForeverLisa and @TwiloveSue getting pictures with Rob on Monday, and Rob waving and mouthing 'I love you kiTT' into the camera from the UK white-trimmed-in red carpet today (true story) I open my email this morning to find this lovely gift from Jules!!!
FanFiction is just better when we obsess over it with friends and this story in particular will always hold a special place in my heart for so many different reasons. It made me bawl my eyes out when I read it and I loved all the characterizations of our favorite characters. I became friends with more than a few people over this story, including Carol.
And we all know I love when the fanfiction comes to life for us! We have all these great pics of Rob that need to be put to good use! And it's all there---so many parts of the story 'The Best Man' that I love! It's beautiful, Jules, thank you--sincerely!!!
When I was watching 'Eclipse' in the theater last night, I was struck most by the fans shown at tent city and ComicCon who said that they know they could just be at home watching or reading the books but how much they have enjoyed getting out and meeting new people and just having this in their lives. We may not all travel the globe after Rob but we do a great job connecting and sharing and I truly have enjoyed another year of having this and you guys in my life!!!

The Best Man was just wonderful. Oh how I bawled. I was explaining pretty much the same thing about bonding through fanfiction to someone just this week. It's more than the stories, it's really the people that make the fandom.
I don't see BD until next Tuesday. Going with my sis-in-law and promised I wouldn't cheat and go early but I don't mind spoilers. So feel free to give me a full report. :)

*heart clench* The Best Man OWNED me. I sobbed for days, no joke. I was trying to explain it to someone and cried. Then someone showed me the video and it had the same song they played at a friends funeral so I couldn't watch. The Best Man is SO good... I can't say it enough.
Lol I swear Rob puts his tongue out like that because he knows it drives people (you) crazy. ;)
The Best Man is in my top 10 list, loved it.
