Sparkly Tips For Seeing Rob!

I teased a bunch of you this past week about having gotten my nails done up pretty with a touch of sparkle because I wanted them to look good for some upcoming pictures. No one could really figure out what I possibly had going on, which surprised me. I thought this would be one of my easy 'kiTT mysteries' to figure out because most of you have already done this!!!

Well first let me show you my nails because they didn't really come through that well in pictures. My hubby was working the camera, and let me just say, I think hubby as my 'wingman' for these little Twi-excursions is coming to an end because he took some really crappy pictures and I don't think he did it on purpose, but he's too busy making fun of me in the moment mocking, "oh my god, it's Rob!" to really put his heart and soul into the pictures that I will be cherishing for the rest of my life!!!

Can you see the sparkle on each nail? It's just the tip. o.O

So here is where I went to this weekend.

*drum roll*

Start spreading the news....I'm leaving today.
I want to be a part of it, RPattz in New York,
cuz if I can...see him there, I might see him...anywhere,
it's RPattz's hand's in New York,
NEW YORK!

What's that I hear? The sound of a bunch of you
bonking yourselves on the head and wondering
why you didn't think of that?

Here they are again!
It's all color changing, kinda neat!

Guess which color change was my
favorite?

Wait.

for..

it...

Purple's Cool!!!!

Jules and Jeanette, do you hear music?

Touch the hand of the man that made you woman?

(Oh, yes, most of us wish!)

So this truly was my first time at a Planet Hollywood. Having had no idea there were Twilight items in there I had passed up eating there on several occasions in the past couple of years, preferring the view or food from other locations or because there was always a line, but once I found out about this being there...

I knew it was just a matter of time before I was going to find myself there! And luckily when we went, the Twilight gods were smiling down on us because there was no line!

A few observations:

~Yes Rob's hands and shoes are big! A given.

~Bella's dress is so much prettier in person than it is in the movie. And the sweater is...perfect.

~In person, the sneakers with that dress are still just as INAPPROPRIATE. Sorry KStew!

~I want this display in my house. LOL. I just LOVED being by it. I kept staring and staring.

I wanted more to this display! So I'm pretty sure I would love that whole Twilight museum once it is done in Forks.

~I wanted the display to have a button (like the fun stuff at Disney) that I could push and I would hear Rob's voice first and foremost:

'Isn't it enough just to live a long and happy life with me?"

"Yeah, for now."

And then the music plays!

[Planet Hollywood: No charge for that idea if you make it happen!]

I spent a lot of time looking for Rob's hands inside the restaurant only to find out I had passed them by the elevator before getting to the restaurant. So just a tip to anyone who wants to see Rob's hands but doesn't want to go to Planet Hollywood--you can go into the store and to the lobby and see Rob's hands without having to commit to going into the restaurant.

Mini had a great time too! Mr. ATP and I were a little uncomfortable as she bopped along in her seat to 50 TV screens playing videos to songs like 'Hollaback Girl,' Justin Timberlake, and NaughtybyNature but what can you do? She recognized some songs that are on her Wii Just Dance game. But mostly, mini got distracted by the movie displays!

Mini LOVED this display but
 wanted to know where Alice
and the rest of the Cullens were!

Awww, there's our beanie boy!!!

And I took a special picture for BellaTesoro! On her last trip through NYC she snapped photos of places and items that reminded her of not just Twilight but also of her other love, the fanfic Emancipation Proclamation. (Oh yes, Fran, I remember.) But things have changed a bit since then because EP has been pubished as Sempre and with publication of our favorite fics comes name changes of our beloved Edwards and Bellas.

So, I snapped a new pic with that in mind!!!

Enjoy your day!

TwiHappy TwiBirthday TwiredJen!

Hey Jen! It's your birthday today, isn't it? Are you all ready to celebrate?

Oh come on now Jen, don't be all scowls for your birthday!
You can do better than that!

Are you ready to party?

Okay, that might be a little too much.

(Someone get Jen a Snickers bar, she's not acting like herself. She's kind of Wiig-ing out!***)

How about you just rock your Twi-T-shirt  and give us the thumbs up?

There's the Jen we all know and love, probably with a bloody mary, margarita, or glass of wine poured and ready to drink!

Well your birth is definitely something to celebrate in a BIG way. So BIG that we're bringing out a marching band and some good music from your favorite singer!

Yesterday's gone, but you have so much to look forward to!

Jen,

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday! You welcome everyone into this fandom with open arms and give them a guided tour! You are our Twilight Fandom Goodwill Ambassador, and we're lucky to have you! You're the cheerleader for your friends in the fandom, all the Twilight actors and actresses, Jacksonitis, 100 Monkeys, and Rob + Kristen.

Wouldn't you guys agree?

They agree but you know how those two are about going out of their way to openly 'acknowledge'  anything!

And here are a whole bunch more
of your friends that agree!

~xoxo~

Hey, Jen!
We may not know each other well, but given the company you keep, I'm sure we'd be fast friends! Have a great day, and don't hesitate to play the birthday card at every available opportunity! I'll give you a few examples:
  • Would you be a dear and bring me a cup of coffee? You know, since it's my birthday and all.
  • Staff meeting...*snort*...I don't think so. It's my birthday, you know.
  • Oh, I can't possibly do the dishes on my birthday!
  • Isn't it against the law to have to make dinner on your own birthday?
  • It's my birthday...*eyebrow quirk*...Kiss me.

TwiWeasel

~xoxo~

Dear Jen,

You're blog is my only reason to be a blog follower, if that's what I am.
Love, Edward

Just checking on your SCROLITIS, Jen!
(in honor of Mr. and Mrs. P)

Dearest Jen,

It's always incredibly amazing to meet my Twifriends in real life, and find out they are just as awesome in person. Somehow it just validates that this fandom isn't crazy.  I had the pleasure of meeting the TwiredJen last November and she is fabulous.

I hope you have an amazing birthday today with your friends and family.
*cheers*
Jayla

Have a wonderful birthday, Jen!!!
Thanks to the girls who helped make this post extra special, though I was hoping for a better reaction from Rob and Kristen. Maybe I'll try them one more time.

"Hey Kristen, I said, it's TwiredJen's birthday and would you two like to come out and wish her a happy day?"

"OMG! Come on Rob, let's go! TwiredJen is amazing!"
"Yeah!"

(that's more like it!)

Take Heart!

So I'm not sure what is up with all the anti-Valentine's Day stuff I've seen over the past few days girls, but TAKE HEART that in our little online fantasy Robworld you don't have to be opposed to a special day of proclaiming your love for all things Rob or Twilight.

It's pretty much business as usual around here if you ask me.

And here's a little tribute I thought up for Whitney Houston that I thought was appropriate for today because if you grew up loving Whitney, she basically grew up with you and sang about every aspect of your love life. All that 'coming of age' relationship stuff was really well told by Whitney songs. When you didn't know who else to turn to, you could always turn to Whitney.

-When we were young and wondered if the cute boy might like us too and didn't want to rely on mom's advice, we turned to Whitney. How Will I Know

-When we had no one to dance with, we danced around to Whitney. I Want to Dance with Somebody.

-When we needed someone to teach us how to step out from the shadows and love ourselves, we listened to Whitney. The Greatest Love Of All

-When we needed someone to understand how excited we felt just thinking about a guy, we turned to Whitney. So Emotional

-When we, as young women learned how to be sultry and sexy for a guy in private, we turned to Whitney. Saving all my love, I'll Be Your Baby Tonight

-When we dealt with the realization of heartbreak and sobbed for a way to make it better, we turned to Whitney. All at once, Where do Broken hearts go

-When we looked for inspiration to achieve our dreams or reach for something bigger, we turned to Whitney. One Moment In Time

-When we realized we had to let someone in our life go, keep our time together in our hearts, but walking away was the right thing to do, we had Whitney to help us through it. I Will Always Love you

When we just needed to believe in miracles, we turned to Whitney.

Wishing you all a terrific Valentine's Day! And always wishing there is a miracle in store for you today and everyday!!

~kiTT

Okay Rob, if you insist!

The Sexy Shopping Cart

On the heels of BD DVD weekend, delving into all the movie stuff is too complicated for me right now. In case you didn't already know, I'm so peturbed about there being no deleted scenes on the DVDs. If you've listened to Bill's audio he goes on and on about having filmed a few extra scenes and maybe if we are all lucky they might show up on a director's cut some day. And maybe if you are lucky Bill, I'll still care about seeing them at that point.

Lame.

Moving on to the sad news yesterday of Whitney Houston. Just recently I heard a report that she wanted to make a 'Waiting to Exhale 2' and I thought that was a good idea, a really good move. She needed to get back to something positive and the first one was a great movie and role for her. But after hearing the news I can't help but think of her daughter. I used to watch the Bobby and Whitney reality show. Yes. I. Did. And in one episode I remember her telling her daughter that when she got married how much they would do up the wedding. It has always stuck with me, so as a mother my heart breaks that Whitney won't get that chance for her daughter's wedding some day.

Speaking of being a mother...I have to tell a mini story. She's only five and I shelter her, a lot. The kid loves Twilight, yes, but we don't let her watch too many commercials. We try to keep any racy, scary, and guns images to a minimum but she knows about the bad stuff and brings it up looking for our reaction.

I hate those grocery carts at the store with the car attached to the front of them.

I let mini sit in one of those once and it was the biggest pain in the ass to steer around corners and through the aisles. I was taking out displays at every end of the aisle and afterward I told myself never again. So mostly I take her to a store with a kids playroom inside and drop her off there while I shop to avoid the car-cart.

Then I happened to see or hear people in their early twenties talking with such fondness about riding around in those carts as kids and I realized I had overlooked the simple joy a child can get from riding in one of those stupid things and told myself that as a mom I needed to suck it up and let her ride in one once in a while. . . uhhh, if she spotted one and asked. (I wasn't going to go out of my way to find one.)

So here we are today as I drive up to a store without a little playroom to get just a few things and she spots one right away outside. I'm thinking okay sure. I'm at a relatively new store. The cart is moving along okay. It still doesn't maneuver the aisles too well, but mini is in it having a good time. And one thing you have to understand about mini, she's very aware of her admirers aka audience members aka just normal people doing their grocery shopping. She's honking her horn and sticks her head or feet out the sides of the car. She laughs loudly and waves. Lots of people wave to her or give her a little laugh or give me a little quip about what a great driver she is. Par for the course.

One of the worst things about the car is that if she talks I can't really hear her (plus my ears are so sore from being sick) and if I talk she can't hear me as long as we are moving along. We stop and I'm looking for something on a shelf I can't find. A few people have stopped around me and mini starts talking.

"Hey Mom, I can spell the word SQUEAK."

And you know how us moms are with our okay honey great as we are immersed in looking at labels.

Then I hear " ---- E X Y"

Uhhhh.what? I totally missed the first letter to this word even though by the way the young guy standing there with his girlfriend is laughing, I'm pretty sure I can fill in the blanks.

With that I push her into the next aisle then stop and crouch in front of her.

"Tell Mommy again how you spell SQUEAK."

In her little happy way she turns and shows me where letters have been written in pen on the back of the car that reads "S E X Y."

The young couple walks by again laughing as they look at me and mini as the blood drains from my face.

Yeah, I'm going to need to hear stories about the kids in your life as dumb as this to make me feel better.
